World-Class Toilets for World-Class Events.

When it comes to celebrating outstanding achievements and creating an exclusive environment to welcome discerning guests, every detail counts. Like TOTO WASHLET, which transforms portable VIP toilets into comfortable temporary washrooms.
Long summer events, warm temperatures, big crowds and sophisticated hospitality: Major international events do a lot to make their guests feel comfortable and welcome. There’s a warm, attentive reception, first-class catering, well-organised grounds and intentionally designed lounge areas. And their commitment to quality shows in the most unexpected places: the toilets. 

The BMW International Open, one of Germany’s most important professional golf tournaments, and the FEI World Championships Aachen, the highlight of international equestrian sports, both featured portable VIP sanitary units equipped with TOTO bidet toilets. These unique facilities bring comfort, hygiene and exclusive bathroom culture to places where people usually just expect a functioning toilet.

Temporary portable toilets

A portable toilet doesn’t need to look like one. Sanitary units at these exclusive events are transformed into small, sophisticated bathrooms with luxury amenities.

Japanese bathing culture in the heart of the village

The collaboration between TOTO and these two world-class events didn’t stop at the VIP toilets. Visitors to the Village, an open-air marketplace, also had an opportunity to experience TOTO first hand. 
Both events had expansive tented areas where guests could enjoy entertainment, a variety of different brand activations, and dining options. TOTO had its own tent amidst renowned luxury brands like Rolex and Maybach, as well as providers of exclusive equestrian and golf accessories. 


The TOTO tent showcased two special highlights: WASHLET NEOREST and the Flotation Tub. These two products illustrate how TOTO technologies deliver extraordinary comfort, hygiene and well-being.

TOTO Zelt

The Flotation Tub elevates relaxation to an entirely new level. Its design puts the bather’s body in a position reminiscent of the weightlessness astronauts feel in space. Integrated massage jets create a floating sensation and an extraordinarily intense bathing experience – a moment where the stresses of everyday life melt away.
In contrast, WASHLET NEOREST uses state-of-the-art technology to achieve the ultimate in hygiene and comfort. Smart technologies support the self-cleaning features of this bidet toilet – for a long-lasting clean. Users can also save their preferences for a truly personalised experience aligned with their own unique needs. 
Guests at both events were very interested in these two premium products. Many took the opportunity to experience them first-hand, gaining fascinating insights into how TOTO interprets Japanese bathing culture.

For Clerkenwell Design Week 2026, the newly redesigned TOTO showroom in London opens its doors. Originally launched in 2010 in Clerkenwell, the space has been completely reimagined. What has emerged is an immersive brand experience where visitors can engage with and explore the brand. A place that demonstrates how comfort, hygiene, and design can become part of everyday life.
