That’s Life Anew
WASHLET® and me

TOTO is undergoing the expansion of its Clerkenwell showroom, responding to growing demand from architects, designers, and specifiers in the UK market.

The enlarged space offers an extended range of product displays, allowing visitors to experience our bathroom and sanitary ware in a totally new way. The showroom will feature dedicated zones for different product categories, making it easier for professionals to navigate and compare options during the specification process.

Clerkenwell continues to establish itself as a hub for design-focused businesses, with its concentration of architecture studios, design agencies, and trade showrooms. The location provides convenient access for industry professionals working across London, while the area's design credentials align naturally with the TOTO brand.

The growing importance of the physical showroom experience complements rather than competes with our digital channels. While technical specifications and imagery are readily available online, product selection often requires tactile evaluation and one to one support.

Since 2010, TOTO in Clerkenwell London has had a dedicated showroom and gallery space where we have presented our key products. Fifteen years on and we have outgrown our home, not only do we have a bigger team, but our product portfolio includes many new and different designs. Luckily, we can stay in the same building and extend into the adjacent building, making it a more sustainable move.

With our expansion we will be able to communicate more about the TOTO brand too, increasingly our clients are fascinated by Japanese culture and traditions, and we will be able to host more events that highlight this alongside our design and technology innovations.

Since the WASHLET entered the European market, we have had success in the hospitality and hotel market and are seen in some of the most prestigious 5* projects in the UK. With a larger showroom it will help us communicate our heritage brand and our company ethos.

Our UK team has grown across all areas and we now have ten highly experienced individuals working on retail, commercial and hospitality projects. It will be business as usual whilst we prepare for the Spring unveiling of our exciting new space.
